A Place to Shine
In 2023, the Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run had its first-ever event, a remarkable achievement for the organizers. The event is held annually at Chepkemel Secondary School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County and is open to amateur and seasoned athletes. The event inspires people of all ages, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and passions.
Run for Education
In this year's edition, we are taking the opportunity to make a difference and give back to the Chepsaita community.
Our mission is simple — to run for education.
In addition to the cash prizes for the winners, there will be also scholarships awarded to the needy children in the Chepsaita Community.

Farouk Kibet, the Patron of the cross-country run, aims to make it an international event and is determined to see the event meet World Athletics standards. The goal is to make his home town, Chepsaita, a convergence where stars meet.
